About the Event

Since its inception in 1976, the Bids for Kids Benefit Auction has served as one of the agency's largest annual fundraisers. One of the longest-running auctions in the area, this much loved community event is a critical artery of support for the unique services our agency provides to more than 800 children and adults each year.

Little Friends will host its 36th Annual Bids for Kids Benefit Auction on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at the Hilton Lisle-Naperville, 3003 Corporate West Drive. This year's event will take you back in time to the Roaring 20's, and offer you a glimpse into the world of jazz, flapper girls and all the glamour and glitz of the Cotton Club. So brush up on your Great Gatsby and get ready to listen to Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Cab Calloway and all the great artists from that era. Festivities will include cocktails, dinner, raffles, silent auction and a rousing live auction led by Auctioneer Greg Dellinger. Guests will also enjoy dancing and entertainment. Premiere seating tickets, which include a prominent table location for dinner and auction activities, are available for $125. Dinner and auction tickets are available for $100, and auction only tickets can be purchased for $50.

The success of each Little Friends special event relies heavily upon the generosity of local businesses through corporate sponsorship. A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available, ranging from $500 to $7,500. Through our unique sponsorships, your company will be able to choose a level of involvement that will meet your business needs and budget considerations, and generate goodwill by directly impacting lives within your community.
